The San Diego Chapter of AEP actively supports students who are preparing to pursue careers in the environmental field. As part of our support efforts, we are providing an employment assistance program which functions as an intermediary between the students and the environmental business community at large.
While AEP does not guarantee employment, every possible effort is made to assist students in pursuing work experience in the diverse environmental profession. The San Diego Chapter of AEP will accept and circulate internship opportunities for undergraduates and/or graduate students who are currently engaged in the pursuit of a career in a field with an environmental emphasis.
We encourage you to participate in our efforts. Please click on the above title "Attention All Employers!" to complete and submit the internship opportunity form. You may also send an e-mail to the Student Membership & Outreach Director, Julie Wang, at julie.wang@edaw.com to request a form.
The students have been actively pursuing their studies and their involvement with AEP and the next step is to bring them closer to the professional community with some valuable work experience. This is only possible with your participation. You may not have the immediate need for an intern, but you never know when the next new project will be won or when you might be looking for a good person to add to your growing staff, etc. The idea is to be prepared and it is easy, just complete the internship opportunity form and promptly return it. This will help connect the professionals with the bright and eager young minds of our AEP student members.
